ProBonoWorkNot only does CWDG design iconic landscapes and public spaces, the firm spends its time helping the community, and a number of individuals participate in volunteer activities outside of work. John Copley has been assisting the Esplanade Association and DCR with setting design and maintenance standards related to their 2020 Master Plan and the firm donated their time and expertise to assist Partners in Health with a new Teaching Hospital in Haiti.

In addition, a number of individuals offer their time outside of work on volunteer efforts such as Architecture for Humanity Boston, the North End Waterfront Residents Association Open Space Committee; the Boston Civic Design Commission (BCDC); The Women’s Lunch Place (daytime shelter, food, and services for homeless or poor women); and Learning Ally (recording text books and literature titles for the blind and dyslexic).
