Client: The Architectural Team

A new mixed-income housing development comprised of two components – Bristol Commons: a site located in the footprint of the original Fairfax Gardens and Parcel 6A: a 6.4-acre former brownfield site that is now called Lenox Green. Copley Wolff Design Group was responsible for the overall site planning and design for both Bristol Commons and Lenox Green. Bristol Commons contains a main plaza with playground equipment and an activated sculptural spray pad; an outdoor basketball court and community center with social services; community gardens; and wooded land. Lenox Green includes outdoor play areas and community garden plots. CWDG’s designs also include native and adapted exterior plantings that were approved by Green Communities and vehicular and pedestrian circulation.
