Copley Wolff Design Group was responsible for the redesign of the playground located within Dorchester Park. The new design is universally accessible and spatially efficient with prominent connections to adjacencies. The playground comprises an existing central climbing element; four new bays of swings, an ADA accessible drum set, and two splay structures.
The use of native trees, logs, and boulders as well as the addition of a wooden play frame and a curved path to a climbing rock encourages children to reach into the natural areas and engage their creative play.
