Copley Wolff Design Group provided landscape architecture design services for the 195-unit multi-family apartment building. The project is located on a steeply sloped 1-acre site, bounded by the Jamaicaway and Emerald Necklace Parklands on one side and Huntington Avenue on the other.
Copley Wolff was responsible for the design of the streetscape, an interior garden courtyard, and the entryways. A terrace providing views of Boston and access to the Emerald Necklace contains native shrubs, flowering trees, and a decorative fence. Streetscape enhancements include a plaza at the residential lobby entrance, seatwall planters at the retail entries, new street trees, and a new bus shelter. The interior courtyard features flexible gathering space, landscape mounds, trees, and private and group seating. In addition, the courtyard space is complimented with a variety of lush planting beds.
