The redevelopment of the Boston Globe’s 16.6-acre former headquarters will retrofit an existing office/industrial building into a modern hub for creative office space, laboratories, a fitness center, restaurant, and other retail uses. Copley Wolff Design Group’s site design includes a multi-use path at Patton’s Cove, a flush entry plaza, festival space, event lawn with bleacher seating, courtyard garden, roof terrace, puppy park and playground. The design incorporates permeable paving, large-scale raingardens and a 100% native planting palette.
