Location: Boston, Massachusetts
The redevelopment of the Boston Globe’s 16.6-acre former headquarters will retrofit an existing office/industrial building into a modern hub for creative office space, laboratories, a fitness center, restaurant and micro-brewery, and other retail uses. The building has been renamed ‘The BEAT’ (The Boston Exchange for Accelerated Technology), to pay homage to the ‘beat’ reporters who wrote at the Globe ‘s Dorchester location for more than 60 years
Copley Wolff Design Group’s site design includes a multi-use path network, entry plaza, festival space, event lawn, courtyard garden, roof terrace, dog run and playground.
