The Watermark Seaport is a residential tower consisting of 346 apartments, 25,000 square feet of retail space, and two levels of below-grade parking. The building is targeting LEED Gold certification. Copley Wolff Design Group was responsible for the design of the streetscape, an alley entry corridor, and two roof deck amenity spaces.
The streetscape design is comprised of street trees, native plantings, bike racks, furnishing, a retail terrace, seating areas, and dedicated walkways. It is paved with pervious pavers to infiltrate rainwater back into the earth and the street trees utilize captured roof runoff stored in a large underground cistern. The roof decks, located on the 18th floor and on the second floor between the Tower and Loft Buildings, provide residents with gathering spaces, dining/grilling stations, incredible views of the Boston Waterfront and downtown Boston skyline, a flexible space for exercise, and lounging areas. They are furnished with lounge chairs, dining tables, contemporary outdoor couches, high top tables and stools, and built in wood seating throughout.
