Watermark Seaport
Location / Boston, MA
Client and Owner / Stantec and Skanska/Twining Properties
The Watermark Seaport is a residential tower consisting of 346 apartments, 25,000 square feet of retail space, and two levels of below-grade parking. Copley Wolff designed the streetscape, an alley entry corridor, an amenity space located on Level Two, and a roof deck on the 18th floor.
The streetscape design is comprised of street trees, native plantings, bike racks, furnishings, a retail terrace, seating areas, and dedicated walkways. It is paved with pervious pavers to infiltrate rainwater back into the earth and the street trees utilize captured roof runoff stored in a large underground cistern.

The terrace located on the 18th floor offers residents gathering areas and also capitalizes on the incredible views. The space is furnished with grilling stations, lounge chairs, lighting, a pergola, and dining tables.
In addition: there is a large central green space planted with sedums. The second floor amenity terrace is located between the Tower and Loft buildings and abuts Seaport Boulevard. It consists of three main areas - a planted zone with hardy sedum planting, an active zone with grills and tables, a flexible space for outdoor exercise, and a platform space designed with shade trees and lounge seating.
