Last week marked a significant milestone for the planned redevelopment of the Mary Ellen McCormack public housing complex in South Boston, the first public housing community in New England and one of the largest in Boston. The Boston Planning & Development Agency approved the Phase One Development Plan proposed by the Boston Housing Authority and WinnCompanies, who will collaborate to transform the 30-acre site.

Copley Wolff is proud to have been part of an incredible team of visionaries who have worked tirelessly to develop a plan which stitches Mary Ellen McCormack back into the larger urban fabric, prioritizes the preservation of the existing urban forest, and creates new, programmed open space for the entire community.
