‘The Bear’ unveilled by Boston Bruins!

Principals James Heroux and Sean Sanger and Designers Madison Aronow and Fernando Sousa were honored to be on-hand for the unveiling of The Bear - a monumental sculpture commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Boston Bruins – with Bruins’ legend Bobby Orr, Captain Brad Marchand, Governor Maura Healey, and Mayor Michelle Wu. Created by artist Harry Weber, The Bear stands 6 feet tall, is 10 feel long, and weighs more than 3,500 pounds. The Copley Wolff team designed the custom plinth and improvements to the surrounding Portal Park, directly adjacent to TD Garden. This project is the latest chapter Copley Wolff’s relationship with TD Garden, having served as landscape architects for the complexes major renovation completed in 2019.
